Marukyu Koyamaen invites you to an exclusive summer tea gathering to experience the hospitality and the beauty of the Japanese Way of Tea.
Enjoy the Zen-like atmosphere of a traditional tea house, surrounded by a tranquil garden. Experienced tea practitioners will guide you in English through intricate procedures and tearoom etiquette that us essential to The Way of Tea.
Beginner’s Course

Enjoy a refreshing tea beverage and view an informative video about matcha production. - Japanese garden (The Roji)
Guests go through mini purification in preparation to enter the tearoom and partake of tea. - The tea room
See firsthand all the procedures, utensils, and etiquette that is involved in making and serving tea. Enjoy a bowl of Matcha and a Japanese sweet. - Workshop
Learning the techniques to whisk your very own delicious bowl of tea.
Please wear a mask as a precaution to COVID-19.
